Gregg Peterson

Mr. Peterson has over 25 years’ experience developing medical device and combination products, leading to commercial launch of over a dozen products globally. He has held leadership positions at both S&P500 companies and start-ups. Mr. Peterson has a successful history leading R&D programs in US, EU and AsiaPac from ideation through Phase I-III clinical trials and to regulatory approval. He is a veteran of multiple pharma startup companies with successful exits including Evolus (IPO), TargeGen (sale to Sanofi-Aventis) and Somaxon (IPO).

Shawn Xiang, PhD

Dr. Xiang is Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Engineering at the University of California, Irvine, and a full member of the NCI-designated UCI Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. As director of the TRUE Lab, he and his team invented radiacoustic imaging and pioneered in vivo dosimetry for radiotherapy.

Dr. Xiang has published over 100 papers, including in Nature Reviews Physics and Science Advances, secured more than $11M in NIH and American Cancer Society funding, and holds 14 patents. Dr. Xiang has delivered over 100 invited talks worldwide and is dedicated to translating his lab’s discoveries into clinical practice to transform cancer care.
